Aston Martin has built plenty of powerful cars, but the new Aston Martin Valen pushes the company’s front-engine V12 formula into much more serious territory.
Revealed in Monterey, California, the Valen is a limited-production supercar created through Aston Martin’s Q bespoke division. Under its sharply sculpted carbon-fiber body sits a 5.2-liter twin-turbocharged V12 producing 850 PS and 1,000 Nm of torque.
It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in a claimed 3.0 seconds and reach 214 mph.
But the Valen isn’t simply about adding more horsepower. Aston Martin has also worked extensively on weight reduction, steering, suspension, brakes and aerodynamics to create a car that feels considerably more focused than its regular V12 models.
Only 150 units will be produced worldwide.
Aston Martin Valen V12 Produces 850 PS
The Aston Martin Valen uses the company’s 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12, but in this application the engine has been pushed to 850 PS and 1,000 Nm of torque. Maximum torque arrives from just 2,500 rpm, giving the Valen a huge amount of acceleration without requiring the driver to keep the engine at the top of its rev range.
Power is sent through an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. Aston Martin has introduced faster shift strategies derived from its Vantage GT4 racing program, giving the gearbox a more aggressive character. The result is a claimed 0-60 mph time of 3.0 seconds, while top speed is electronically limited to 214 mph.
Those numbers make the Valen one of the most powerful front-engine production cars Aston Martin has ever built.
The Valen Is Up to 110 Kg Lighter
Aston Martin has made weight reduction one of the central elements of the Valen project. The car can save up to 110 kg compared with the company’s existing V12 platform. Carbon fiber, aluminum, titanium and magnesium are used in various areas of the car to reduce mass.There’s also an optional lightweight package for customers who want to take things even further. It includes machined aluminum suspension components and titanium chassis bolts, cutting another 16.9 kg.The Valen also rides on lightweight magnesium wheels as standard.That matters because reducing unsprung weight can improve steering response and suspension control. For a car designed to feel more like a serious sports car than a traditional grand tourer, those details are important.
A Chassis Designed Around the Driver
The Aston Martin Valen is more than a straight-line performer. Aston Martin has tuned its steering, suspension, brakes and stability-control systems specifically for the car. Drivers can choose from Sport, Sport+ and Track modes, each offering a different throttle and handling response.The steering has been sharpened for greater feedback, while the rear suspension uses a solid-mounted subframe, model-specific springs and Bilstein DTX semi-active dampers.The result is quicker, more precise handling without sacrificing road comfort.
Carbon-Ceramic Brakes and Pirelli Tires
The Valen uses 410-mm carbon-ceramic front brakes and 360-mm rear brakes.It rides on specially developed Pirelli P Zero R tires, with P Zero Winter 2 tires available as an option. The tire sizes are 275/35 ZR21 at the front and 325/30 ZR21 at the rear.
Pirelli’s Cyber Tyre technology provides real-time tire data to systems such as ABS, traction control and stability control, helping optimize performance.
The Valen Has a Titanium Exhaust
The Valen features a lightweight, bespoke titanium exhaust system with four outlets.Its valves and tuned design give the V12 a sharper, more intense sound as engine speed rises. Aston Martin also uses 3D-printed titanium for the exhaust finishers.
The Most Aggressive-Looking Aston Martin V12
The Valen has a more aggressive design than Aston Martin’s traditional grand tourers.Slim recessed headlights, an angular grille and a prominent splitter give the front end a purposeful appearance. Functional side vents improve airflow around the front wheels, while wide rear haunches emphasize the car’s stance.
Aerodynamic elements are integrated into the bodywork instead of relying solely on a large rear wing.
A 170-Liter Trunk Makes It More Usable
Despite its performance focus, the Valen offers some practicality. A large rear tailgate opens to a 170-liter luggage compartment. Buyers can also choose a Touring Pack with specially designed luggage.It is not a family car, but the extra storage makes the Valen better suited to longer road trips.

The interior is driver-focused, with a slim center console angled toward the cockpit.Buyers can choose between Sports Plus seats and lighter carbon-fiber performance seats. The former prioritize comfort and support, while the latter offer a more focused driving position.
When Will the Aston Martin Valen Arrive?
Aston Martin will build just 150 examples worldwide, with deliveries expected to begin in the second quarter of 2027. The Valen combines a front-engine V12, rear-wheel drive, lightweight construction and a driver-focused chassis.Rather than relying only on outright speed, it delivers performance through power, precision and character—qualities that should make it one of Aston Martin’s most memorable limited-production models.
Pricing for the Aston Martin Valen has not been officially announced, although reports put the starting price at around $2 million.
